Timyo B.V. respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially.
When you register for one of our services, we will ask you to provide personal data. This data is used for the performance of the service. The data is stored on secured proprietary servers of Timyo B.V. or of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data that we have. We will not sell your data to third parties.
We will store inter alia the following information of you in your account on Timyo B.V.: your name, address(es), telephone number, email address, delivery and payment details, and information and interests provided (for example, if we have asked for your birth date). Handy, because you will not have to re-enter this data every time you use your account. We also store details on your previous orders, so you will be able to retrieve them easily.
When you send us an email or other communications, we may keep such communications. Sometimes we will ask you to provide personal data that is relevant to the situation concerned, so we will be able to process your questions and respond to your requests. The data is stored on secured proprietary servers of Timyo B.V. or of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data that we have.
We do not collect or use information for purposes other than the purposes described in this privacy policy, unless we have received prior permission from you for this purpose.
The information will only be shared with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the assignment. A good example of this is when we share your contact details with the trucking company or an external installation service so they will be able to perform the installation assignment at your location. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. Fur purposes of maintenance and optimization of our technical systems we use external partners and systems in which our customer details have been recorded. We have concluded agreements with these partners to warrant your data and privacy. You may rest assured that we will not sell your data to third parties in any way.
Sometimes we use another party for making repairs to products you bought from us. That party may use your data for this purpose.
We love reviews. And so do our customers. If you want to write a review, you can choose for yourself if your personal data or your name will be visible to other visitors and if we may contact you about your review. We keep track of who writes which review. In most cases, you will be writing the review using an external party such as Kiyoh, Facebook, Google, Trustpilot or another review party / website. Please note that the privacy policy and the cookie policy of the relevant website apply in this case; we strongly recommend that you consult these policies.
We will need your name, email address, address(es), payment details, and sometimes also your telephone number, for your order, so that we can deliver your order and keep you informed of your order. We also provide others with your data if this is necessary for an order, for example to delivery services and our distribution center. We demand of our external partners that they handle your data with the same care as we do.
